Join our dynamic team at Aeronautics as a Financial Planning and Analysis Leader! Reporting to the Aeronautics Financial Controller Vice President, this role is pivotal in shaping the financial landscape of our enterprise.

What You Will Be Doing

Leads a team of leaders/analysts to conduct enterprise Financial Planning and related analysis. Responsible for timely and accurate reporting and forecasting of the company’s financial metrics. Leads the development of the corporation's annual Long Range Plan (LRP) and the monthly / quarterly financial reporting and forecasting for the corporation. Leads the corporation's key investment analysis and consolidation and reporting of the enterprise affordability targets and metrics. Works closely with the business areas and functional leaders to develop detailed enterprise financial forecasts, including identification of risk & opportunities and related mitigation plans, and perform sensitivity analysis. Coordinates CFO & Statement reviews meetings, executive compensation financial targets and measurement, Board of Director presentations & reporting, quarterly earnings call preparation materials, and supports SEC reporting requirements.
Works directly with business area leadership and corporate functional staff, including Accounting, Treasury, Investor Relations, Government Finance, Business Areas Overhead, PA&E / ICE, Strategy and Business Development, and other corporate functions to develop and report the business area financial performance commitments and progress against those commitments. Works directly with Investor Relations to help provide consistency and reconciliation between our external financial guidance and investor understanding of our outlooks and assumptions. Attracts and retains high performing team of analysts to ensure the team is prepared for future key leadership roles within the F&BO organization.

Basic Qualifications:

• Expert/Executive Financial planning and analysis leadership experience at the program, portfolio, business segment, and/or corporate level
• Expert/Executive level understanding of key internal and external financial metrics, business principals and GAAP reporting requirements
• Expert/Executive financial modelling and analysis experience and extensive experience with executive level reporting and presentations
• Master of Business Administration degree or equivalent demonstrated experience (Masters, CPA, etc.)

Desired Skills:

• Pro-Forma Financial Statement modelling
• Statistical analysis, modelling & visualization
• Cash planning and forecasting, including expert level understanding of balance sheet and working capital accounts
• Enterprise portfolio knowledge and business area business operations and/or FP&A experience
• FLA program graduate

Ability to Work Remotely:

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position:

4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
