Financial Planning Analyst (FP&A) FULL TIME (HYBRID)

A DAY IN THE LIFE:
- Utilizing tools for financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking.
- You will be regularly and frequently communicate with internal stakeholders.
- You will compile financial information and reports, while working closely to track KPI’s.
- You will perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking.
- You will analyze financial data and help maintain financial models for decision support.
- You will report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews.
- You will work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- You will evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
- You will provide analysis of trends and forecasts and recommend actions for optimization.
- You will identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards.
- You will increase productivity by developing automated reporting / forecasting tools.
- You will maintain a strong financial analysis foundation creating forecasts and models.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO MOVE YOU TO THE TOP OF THE LIST:
- You will want to have a Finance and/or Business Information Systems degree.
- You will want to have 1-2 years of experience as a financial/business analyst.
- You will want to have strong analytical/problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- You will want to have advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- You will want to have a solid understanding of how different data sources from different systems can be merged.
- You will need strong communication skills; both oral and written.
THE TOOLS WE USE TO HELP MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL:
- Our client uses Sigma Analytics for the Snowflake Data Cloud for cloud analytics and BI solution.
- Our client leverages MS Office- Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Our client leverages Gmail, Google Docs and Google Sheets.
