Position Summary: We are actively seeking a dynamic and self-motivated individual to step into the role of Branch Manager, serving as both a player and coach within our branch. The successful candidate will take charge of leading our team in sales planning, training, budget oversight, and overall management of personnel, vendors, and inventory.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Pay: Negotiable based on experience.
Essential Functions:
- Achieve profitable sales to support current and future business growth.
- Develop and maintain relationships with assigned accounts, acting as a trusted advisor and primary sales contact
- Execute inside sales activities for assigned customers, including prospecting, qualifying leads, presenting proposals, negotiating contracts, and closing deals.
- Collaborate with Operations to ensure staffing aligns with branch growth objectives.
- Foster positive morale throughout all teams within the branch.
- Coordinate and conduct sales and product training to enhance job performance and customer service.
- Communicate sales objectives and goals regularly to all employees, keeping them informed of profitability and performance statements.
- Assume responsibility for maintaining a clean, neat, and orderly Counter Facility with high visibility of promotional merchandising to support sales goals.
- Promote product lines and manufacturers to strengthen relationships with key vendors.
- Adhere to established procedures for Sales, Inventory, Purchasing, Warehousing, and Returned Materials.
- Establish and maintain positive two-way communication between the branch and Headquarters, Management team, and employees.
- Perform all other tasks assigned by the Executive Leadership team.
Job Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; College degree preferred.
- 1-3 years of management experience with a similar size workforce preferred
- Inside Sales experience and Electrical product knowledge is a plus.
- Onsite presence required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills are a must.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
