Your day-to-day work will include:
Aeyon Consulting provides the Marine Corps with Audit Review and Financial Reconciliation support to the RFF-KCI team. Aeyon Consulting is currently seeking qualified candidates to work in Indianapolis, IN or remote location as a Financial Management Analyst. Daily responsibilities may consist of the following:
Provide FM system expertise, identifying and reporting financial system problems and system process improvement requirements.
Validate accounting records for accuracy, performing trend analysis utilizing performance metrics.
Develop and maintain the information management tools, processes, and systems to accurately capture, support, and analyze enterprise financial accounting data required to develop, implement, and continually refine Marine Corps enterprise-level business and financial process improvements.
Provide Audit Support through development and updates to ISA's, CAP's, Processing Guides, and Process flow Diagrams.
Provide support to the Treasury Disbursing Office (TDO) through reconciliation of MCTFS, CARS, DCAS, Advana, and DAI and data entry through TDO Secure Payment System
Provide required administrative and logistics management support.
Track accounting system changes and interfaces.
Serve as a liaison with financial stakeholders such as the Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS.)
Assist with Payment Integrity Information Act by reviewing and compiling KSD packages.
Provide technical assistance to the Finance Branch, Manning Division, Programs and Resources Department (RFM), and other Marine Corps organizational elements that develop and maintain automated Financial Management applications that impact the Military Pay appropriations.
Maintain required communications with numerous organizations within the Marine Corps, Department of Navy, and Defense Finance Accounting Service (DFAS).
Data collection, redaction of data, scanning of crucial supporting documents, and uploading of documentation to audit portals.
Reconciliation of obligations and liquidations within multiple Marine Corps systems
Provide technical guidance on financial matters.
Responsible for maintaining tracking of audit samples that have been addressed, as well as any follow-up that may be provided.
Conduct evaluations and analyses of FM operations.
Support the development and implementation of the Internal control over Financial Reporting (ICOFR) program and procedures.
Experience Requirements:
4 years of full-time experience (including internships) providing Financial Management related services.
Preferred:
Basic knowledge of the Marine Corps Total Force System (MCTFS)
Basic knowledge of SMARTS, SABRS, CHOOSE
MOL, DTMS, UDMIPS, MROWS, DDS, CAPS-W, DCAS, OTC.net, IATS, WAWF, etc.)
Advanced SharePoint, Excel, Visio, Cognos (SQL)
Military Pay, Travel, Fiscal, Internal Controls, Administration, etc.
USMC Accounting Analyst - Fiscal Voucher and or Compliance teams
Audit (primarily FFSA, GAO, NAS, etc.)
Additional Requirements:
Requires analytical ability and knowledge
Must be able to lift 50 pounds
Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing
Ability to multi-task
Ability to employ problem-solving skills

Education Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree; 4 years of additional work experience can be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.

Work hours:
Here at Aeyon we believe in creating an environment that fosters a healthy work/ life balance. The typical day consists of a 9-5 Monday-Friday work schedule totaling 40 hours per week, but we do realize that life happens, and things come up. Many of our positions allow some flexibility in the work schedule for unforeseen events so that our employees can maintain a 40-hour work week and still have the opportunity to meet other obligations during the workday.
