Position Summary:
The Financial Analyst - Sourcing will provide financial and operational support to our merchandise sourcing department to help optimize product buys, vendor agreements, and provide visibility to Management for key financial and operational metrics.
Major Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
- Prepare Annual Budget and monthly forecasts
- Develop merchandise analysis to optimize cost, quality, and time
- Prepare monthly Financial reports and provide explanations for variances against forecast and plan
- Act as liaison between Sourcing, Accounting, and other areas of FP&A
- Special projects as assigned
Position Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors in Finance, or other data sciences field
Required or Acceptable Job-Related Experience: Experience with large, structured database systems - (e/.g/., Business reporting systems/) and unstructured data management techniques
Years of Job-Related Experience: 2+ years
Technical/Other Skills: Excellent Excel skills (Including Pivot table & V-lookup), Tableau, Alteryx, and Business Objects experience preferred
