Position Summary:
Join our Engineering Finance team in Farmington Hills to support financial operations and analysis for innovative projects and initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Execute Month-End closing and variance analysis for reporting purposes.
Conduct Mid-Month forecasting and variance analysis for reporting purposes.
Manage fixed assets effectively.
Analyze and explain variances against Budget and Forecast.
Support Accounts Receivable/Payable issues, Cost Center tracking, and Engineering project controlling to maximize revenue growth, profitability, and cash flow generation.
Maintain and report financial information in compliance with financial policies, reporting schedules, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Ensure all work procedures are documented and updated as necessary.
Communicate effectively and collaborate with various levels of business unit personnel, Shared Service Centers, and Engineering teams.
Safeguarding company assets by accurately accounting for capital spending and ensuring proper identification of company property.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
Minimum 4 years of experience as a Financial Analyst, including at least 2 years of analysis experience.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Drive high-quality, accurate, and timely financial and operational analysis and reporting.
Proactive approach and dedication to teamwork.
Commitment to outstanding customer service and continuous improvement.
Excellent computer skills, including proficiency with MS Office and SAP systems.

Pay Details: $31.00 per hour
