Your Role
Key contributor supporting Victoria’s Secret & Co Lease Accounting. Responsible for moderately complex activities relating to the maintenance of a complete and accurate general ledger associated with the entities assigned under role, and the resulting managerial reports and financial statements. Close process includes journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis in a compressed time period. The ideal candidate must have strong analytical thinking capabilities and be able to multitask, prioritize, and proactively provide solutions in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

Your Impact
- Ensure that all month-end accounting is performed for assigned occupancy expenses in a timely and accurate manner with a high level of attention to detail.
- Prepare ASC 842 lease accounting analysis on a by store/location level related to entities assigned under role
- Reconcile and maintain expense accounts and ensure appropriate accruals each month
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations associated with ASC 842 lease accounting standards or other lease accounting accounts
- Prepare recurring and non-recurring journal entries while maintaining sufficient support for documentation
- Prepare year-end disclosures for company’s 10-K filing for assigned entities
- Develop understanding of business processes related to entities assigned under role
- Establish strong relationships with cross-functional partners in Real Estate & Finance
- Maintain strong financial and operational controls and procedures
- Recommend and implement process improvements
- Participate in special projects
- Perform ad-hoc financial analysis
Minimum Salary : $62,500.00
Maximum Salary : $82,950.00
VS&Co provides an estimated range of compensation for this role as shown. Your actual compensation will be determined by a number of relevant factors, including but not limited to your specific skills, experience, & geographic location.
QualificationsYour Experience
- Experience in journal entry preparation, auditing and balance sheet reconciliation preferred
- Establish productive relationships with cross functional partners
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, dynamic team-oriented environment is important
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are important
- Clearly communicate points of view in a concise manner
- Work independently and on group projects
- Strong multitasking ability and demonstrated self-management
- Ability to meet all deadlines and handle multiple objectives in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain a high level of productivity & proven organizational skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail
- Intermediate to Advanced skills with Excel, other Microsoft Office and PDF applications
Additional Experience
- 2-3 years of relevant accounting & financial analysis experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
- SAP experience preferred
- Advanced degree or CPA a plus
- Prior experience in a retail environment and working with lease accounting a plus
