SalaryTSS is seeking onsite financial support for for the U.S. House of Representatives CAO Office of Acquisitions Management in the O’Neill House Office Building to provide a range of administrative services for the House.
- Facilitate process improvements, budget formulation, submission, execution, analysis, and tracking of organizational procurement plans.
- Create and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
- Provide data-driven metrics for budget projections.
- Perform financial forecasting, cost analysis, and account reconciliation.
- Minimum 1 year experience in automated financial systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Follow guidelines for protecting confidential information.
- Perform a variety of tasks as assigned.
- The ability to effectively communicate in English through strong oral and written skills.
- Detail oriented and well organized with the ability to multi-task, in a high paced environment.
- Must be able to follow directions, and function effectively as part of a team or independently.
- Knowledge of and experience in the legislative environment, U.S. House of Representatives (USHOR) is beneficial.
- 3+ years of experience in the financial field such as accounting, finance, or budgeting
- Education requirement: Bachelor's degree and minimum of 1 year of experience in the financial field such as accounting, finance, or budgeting.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to work with high-profile customers (Members of Congress and staff).
