Cordia Resources by Cherry Bekaert is working with a leading government contracting organization to provide accounting and finance services to a Federal Agency in downtown DC. Candidates will be responsible for significant financial analysis regarding appropriation of funds for the Agency during a 5 month study. Majority of the work will be done remotely, but there are meetings required in DC on an as needed basis.

Responsibilities:
- Performs business and/or financial management and analytical tasks.
- Conducts analysis using appropriate analytical tools, techniques, and methodologies to satisfy program requirements and creates project deliverables.
- Able to identify, understand, and communicate financial trends and scenarios.
- Compiles concise written reports on financial statuses and recommendations.
- Specific expertise in financial modeling, financial statement analysis, and budgeting/forecasting. Performs associated analyses using various tools, techniques, and models under the direction of senior Financial Analysts.
