Summary:

• The Financial Analyst works with the BRP Finance team on strategic opportunities, financial modeling, and creates & produces operational reports that track service level standards and business unit achievement.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Performs data mining, analytics, concept development, and auditing
• Supports business segment leaders by generating monthly and quarterly reports for discussion with respective team and partners
• Develops ad-hoc reports to conduct data analysis
• Interacts with Accounting team to generate monthly financial reports
• Generates budgets across multiple business segments
• Conducts advanced metric reporting
• Participates in continuous quality improvement process

Education, Experience, Skills and Abilities Requirements:

• 2+ years' experience in Private Equity, Investment Banking, Corporate FP&A, or Public Accounting
• 1+ years' experience in the insurance industry preferred
• Background in working with professional service businesses
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business with additional professional development or designations preferred, such as CFA
• Experience with analyzing M&A transactions, including financial modeling and transaction execution
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and system databases required
• Strong analytical skills, including analysis, data collection, process mapping and troubleshooting for root cause
• Must be detail-oriented and achieve timeline results
• Must demonstrate the organization's core values, exuding behavior aligned with the firm's culture.
• Able to interact with various levels of leadership both inside and outside the organization
