- Provide financial analysis support for the business through the annual operating cycles,
- Monthly analysis of actual results
- Preparation of consolidated internal reporting package
- Development of short- and long-term financial forecasts
- Development of annual operating plan
- Works with Director of Finance and GM leadership team to:
- Refine financial and operating statistics to drive consistent performance and
- Help develop capital forecasts and budgets and to implement plans to achieve spend capital efficiently and effectively.
- Implement and administer an effective and efficient design for budgeting while incorporating input from relevant stakeholders.
- Responsible for financial modeling and analysis support of capital management, business development opportunities and vendor related activities.
- Responsible for participating and completing as needed each month end financial close working closely with the Financial Controller.
- Responsible for month end/quarter/year end deliverables as identified by CDI corporate in support of the Director of Finance.
- Assist with the preparation of ad-hoc reporting and other special reporting as needed by the management team and executive management.
- Identify process improvement opportunities, including those related to automation with available technologies.
- Limited travel to various locations within Virginia.
Supervision: This position does not supervise any team members.
Regulatory and Compliance Responsibilities: In addition to the other duties described herein, each team member has the following responsibilities related to compliance with laws and regulations.
- Attend required training sessions offered by the Company.
- Obtain and retain required license(s).
- Perform the duties described in compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Take the necessary steps to ensure minors are not allowed to gamble or loiter in gambling areas, drink alcoholic beverages, or purchase tobacco.
- Have knowledge of the ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures relating to the team member’s department.
- Have knowledge of the Property’s programs to address problem gaming.
- Report any acts of wrongdoing of which the team member may have knowledge.
