The Building People Career Center is Hiring a Financial Analyst Near Washington, DC
The Building People are seeking a qualified Financial Analyst to support a growing portfolio of federal government, local government, non-profit, and commercial customer. The Financial Analyst will have the following responsibilities:
- Formulate and evaluate rent estimates to support plans, programs, and activities.
- Interpret and adapt guidelines, including unwritten policies, precedents, and practices.
- Perform work independently and be entrusted with full responsibility to plan, schedule, initiate and complete tasks relating to rent billing, financial management analyses, and projects in accordance with established procedures.
- Plan and carry out the successive steps and handle problems and deviations in work assignments in accordance with instructions, policies, previous training, and accepted practices in the occupation.
- Responsible for: processing and transmitting accurate rent bills for a government controlled leased and owned space, preparing
and submitting annual Rent Estimates to customers; performing in-depth analyses of financial and space management data to produce accurate billing and prepare reports for senior management; reconciling rent and security bills to validate accuracy of bills; disputing erroneous rent and security bills provide supporting documentation; and managing and maintaining all financial data related to space management for administrative space. - Establish contact with program and policy officials
- Develop mutually agreeable internal and external relationships to exchange information on issues relating to rent billing and space management, to develop new policies, and to resolve process problems.
- Expertly prepare and interpret financial and statistical reports for management guidance and decision making.
- Proficient in budget execution to include tracking obligations, managing expenditures.
