Northwestern Mutual-Evansville is hiring a motivated Financial Advisor to join our growing firm! As a Financial Advisor you will build long-lasting relationships, offer guidance, and provide solutions to help clients meet their financial goals and objectives as they change over time.

You will work with clients by creating financial plans built on their unique needs and visions and through industry-leading solutions, you’ll help them protect what they’ve worked so hard to achieve, while growing their assets for the future.

Responsibilities of a Financial Advisor

• Identify potential clients with marketing and branding resources provided by Northwestern.
• Scheduling appointments and meeting with potential clients
• Advising strategies for clients in insurance coverage, investment planning, cash management, and other areas to help them reach financial objectives.
• Make product recommendations to help your clients meet their financial goals
• Provide ongoing support and service for your clients
• Managing and updating client portfolios.
• Answering client questions about financial plans, strategies and giving financial advice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently
• A self-starter and someone who possesses grit, determination and who is motivated
• A commitment to ongoing learning, including staying current on financial news, laws, and the impacts to their clients

We want people with different backgrounds and work experience, including but not limited to financial services, business development, hospitality, banking, sales, marketing, management, educators, athletics, legal, communications, real estate, entrepreneurs, military veterans, and community influencers. We hope you have a bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university. It’s also a plus if you have strong interpersonal skills, grit, motivation, and are a self-starter.
