Financial Advisor

Provides technical direction, project leadership, and coordination of effort among financial work groups for analysis of diverse business proposals, development of business plan/strategic plan and on-going financial technical advice to senior management.
Additional Job Description Information:

• Leads preparation of financial business-decision support analyses and performs research for areas such as revenue and profit forecasts/plans, scenario analysis, cash flow estimates, cost-benefit calculations, return on investment/net present value calculations and identification of financial risk.
  
• Utilizes IT systems and databases to access applicable business information and prepare sound financial models.
  
• Identifies and accesses applicable business information and prepare sound financial models.
  
• Prepares presentations of complex financial topics with actionable recommendations.
  
• Leads effective discussions of financial analysis projects, identifying key financial sensitivity areas.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree/equivalent in business, finance or related discipline.
  
• Five (5) years directly related experience in financial analysis, financial planning, business consulting, project management, accounting, audit or operational analysis.
  
• Strong analytical, human relations, and communication skills.

Skills/Knowledge/Experience Considered a Plus:

• Knowledge of FedEx product portfolio & experience with operational costing/analysis.
  
• Creativity & initiative in analyzing business issues & proposing solutions.
  
• Strong written & verbal communication including ability to convey financial insights & adapt messaging to audience.
  
• Self-starter with ability to meet deadlines and manage shifting priorities & demands.
  
• SQL, Tableau, Spotfire, Alteryx

Work location:
Position will be hybrid in Memphis, TN or Coraopolis, PA and candidates must live within a reasonable commutable distance. This position is hybrid, meaning that employees must be onsite as directed by leadership but allows team members flexibility to work from home otherwise.
