The Finance Manager - Surface will bring a combination of finance and business acumen, leadership, and influencing skills to this space to drive superior financial results in close alignment with our business partners. The Finance Manager - Surface partners with Sales & Marketing on the most effective go-to-market strategies that compete effectively, optimize revenue, share and gross margin (GM). Responsibilities
- Oversee product lifecycle management, promotional strategies, enable launch readiness and successful transition.
- Own promotional strategies to compete effectively to take share and optimize margin.
- Translate long range planning goals into in year execution strategies and plans including how to ensure successful global product launches and wind down of prior generations.
- Own decision making of investment spend, creative solutioning on determining how best to measure return on investment (ROI)/ efficacy of investments.
- Partner and influence across key Stakeholders in and out of Finance including Sales, Marketing & Supply Chain. Be a trusted advisor to business partners and enable our organization to hit key goals (units, revenue, GM and share).
- Help with future performance predictability and proactively understand risks and opportunities. Feed into financial planning & forecasting accuracy and insights into close.
- Financial modelling and sensitivity analysis. Improve efficiency and effectiveness of core finance activities through enhanced reporting, automation, process excellence and detailed analytics.
- Proactively identify and solve business problems and issues.

Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 2+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership, finance, or related field
- OR Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field
- OR equivalent experience.
Financial Analysis IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $72,800 - $144,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $95,100 - $157,900 per year.
