Finance Manager, Core Services
The Product & Technology Finance team is looking for a Finance Manager to join its team supporting Expedia Group Payments. The initial scope of this position will be focused around the payments area, including merchant fee and virtual card economics. The role interacts with all levels of the organization & will partner with the business to optimize decision-making. You will operate as part of a Seattle-based team and thrive in a fast-pace environment. What you will do:
- Partner across eCommerce and EG to develop a deep understanding of business levers and find opportunities to drive value into the organization
- Distil complex financial data into impactful commercial insights
- Develop financial business cases to support investment decisions
- Build financial models, analyze new trends and initiatives, and perform ad-hoc modelling as required
- Drive process improvement through effective business partnering across the finance organization
- Play a key role in the forecast/outlook process and collaborate with business partners to better understand Risk & Opportunities
- Lead, develop, and improve eCommerce processes and/or metrics to control operational costs and drive efficiencies
Who you are:
- Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent related professional experience (MBA Preferred)
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant professional experience
- High level of intellectual curiosity that drives sense of ownership and desire for continuous improvement
- Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work with all levels of management
- Advanced analytic, modeling, forecasting, and presentation skills
- Results-driven and highly motivated, with the ability to think big and small
- Able to lead and influence decisions across various internal functions
- Ability to interpret and present data in a visually compelling format to financial and non-financial audiences
- Passion for using data to drive better decision-making
- Comfortable working with ambiguity in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Highly proficient with Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with Oracle and Hyperion
The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $110,500.00 to $155,000.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $177,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.
Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
