Candidate can work 100% remote or in-office in Doral.
Pay rate: $25.00 per hour.
Project Description:
- Performs accounting tasks associated with the maintenance and preparation of tax records and tax returns.
- Assists in preparing federal, state, or local tax returns and related statements or records.
- Maintains records of tax filings or payments.
- Recommends financial actions that may lessen the organization's tax liability while meeting organizational goals and maintaining compliance with laws and regulations.
- Researches and suggests responses to changes in tax law, regulations, and guidelines.
- Assists with audit defense as needed.
- Performs work under general supervision.
- Handles moderately complex issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
- May provide leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to subordinate group.
- Reports to a department head or manager.
Required Skills:
- Typically requires a Bachelor's degree, and 2 to 4 years of experience.
- Possesses solid working knowledge of subject matter.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Problem-solving, analytical thinking, accounting, and mathematical skills.
- Detail oriented.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
