Job Description
A reputable construction company specializing in emergency power environments, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Service Manager to lead our UPS/Power Quality service team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating FIELD SERVICE operations, ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction, and maintaining our reputation for service excellence in the UPS/Power Quality industry.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the FIELD SERVICE team, including scheduling, dispatching, and monitoring field activities.
- Ensure all FIELD SERVICEs are executed in compliance with company standards and safety regulations.
- Develop and implement service strategies to enhance operational efficiency and customer service.
- Provide technical support and guidance to FIELD SERVICE engineers and technicians.
- Liaise with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions that meet their requirements.
- Manage customer service issues and escalations, ensuring timely and effective resolutions.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide training and development opportunities for the FIELD SERVICE team.
- Collaborate with other departments to improve product quality and service delivery.
- Manage inventory of parts and equipment required for FIELD SERVICEs.
- Prepare and analyze service reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, or a related UPS Field Service experience.
- Proven experience in a managerial role in the UPS/Power Quality industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of UPS systems, power quality products, and electrical systems.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
- Proficient in using service management software and tools.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Must have valid drivers license.
