We are famous for being the creators of the world's first compostable phone case and are now innovating waste with Lomi, the must-have home smart-waste appliance for anyone who cares about the environment and hates gross garbage. Lomi is designed to transform your food waste into nutrient-rich plant food so you can feel good about eliminating the food waste your family sends to the landfill.
Seeing the lack of infrastructure and the amount of food waste ending up in landfills led us to create Lomi, a new category of Smart Waste Appliances. We decided to democratize the carbon capture process and turn every home into a climate solution. On Earth Day 2021, we launched it to find 15,000 backers from 25+ Countries. Lomi is the highest-raising green tech campaign of all time on Indiegogo and the 3rd fastest campaign to $1M. Lomi continues to grow, with over 200,000 households committing to circular regeneration in Canada, USA, Australia, the UK and the EU. Lomi is designing waste out of the human experience. We're on a mission to eliminate 10 Billion pounds of waste from the global waste stream by 2028 and help regenerate the earth's soil.
Empower our team to excel as the manager of our Field Sales program at various retailer Roadshows, driving sales growth, expanding market presence, and fostering a culture of success among the sales representatives. You will work with our third-party providers and internal sales team to drive profitable growth selling our Lomi Smart Waste products at various Costco locations and other retailers.
The Responsibilities:
- Build, plan all in-market activities, manage and execute all field + trade marketing shows for Lomi
- Drive sales growth and exceed revenue targets through successful Costco Roadshow management
- Work with third-party vendors to ensure quality sales floor representation and sales
- Recruit, lead, and develop a high-performing sales team to achieve Roadshow objectives in core markets, build out the Field Sales team in California, and manage their development and success.
- Monitor and report on sales performance, return rates, and profitability KPI's to provide commentary to the sales, product, and finance teams
- Cultivate relationships with Costco stakeholders and other vendor partners
- Develop sales strategies, lead and mentor the sales team
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, operations and finance teams to ensure roadshow success metrics are being met and exceeded
- Expand market penetration and secure new partnerships within the Costco retail environment
- Adopt a hands-on approach by training staff and demonstrating excellence at the roadshow booth 1 day per week
Qualifications:
- 3+ years in Event/Field Sales environment selling high-end consumer electronics or kitchen equipment; previous experience with Costco events a plus!
- Comfortable selling and building sales strategies for a new-to-retail "green-tech" appliance
- 3+ years in supervisory or people management roles, responsible for hiring, training, coaching, performance management and inspiring results
- Energetic and goal-oriented, with a strong work ethic and a drive for achieving daily targets.
- Natural ability to build rapport and connect with diverse individuals.
- Creative and innovative thinker, always prepared to offer new ideas to improve strategies.
- Adaptable and resilient, adept at managing dynamic environments and situations with confidence.
- Be a problem solver and self-reliant.
- Comfortable with Google Suite and CRM experience an asset
- Expert organizational skills, efficient schedule management, process-oriented and hardworking.
- Develop and achieve planned sales revenue and margin targets
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. (set-up, break down, and restocking demo booths)
- Ability to stand for extended periods when covering show floors
- Must be 21 years or older and pass a background check.
