Your role at Sephora:

As a Sales & Education Manager, Sephora Collection, you are responsible for driving the business and achieving sales KPIs, as determined by the Brand throughout your assigned territory. You’ll do this by detailed analysis of your business, leveraging education & training, thoughtfully planned in-store events, and brand representation in store and field-based activations. In this role you will be reporting into a Senior Manager, Field Sales & Education, Sephora Collection. In addition, you will:

  • Develop a strategic quarterly business plan to maximize sales based on territory performance and individual store needs.
  • Implement these customized in-store strategies to achieve sales and any additional KPIs in your territory through partnership with Sephora District Managers and store leadership teams across all levels.
  • Facilitate daily trainings to introduce, educate and inspire on new product launches, reinforce core products and inform and motivate the team about selling.
  • Grow brand love resulting in increased basket penetration and Sephora Collection new client acquisition.
  • Be the Sephora Collection brand expert pertaining to brand essence, brand sales metrics, product knowledge, inventory, and brand merchandising.
  • Integrate selling skills, services, and additional brand or company initiatives (as needed) in all brand trainings which include and are not limited to in-store Sales & Education visits, events, internal and external brand marketing on-site activations, digital formats.
  • Establish and develop exceptional relationships at store level with Sephora BA’s, Store Leadership, District Managers, and Regional Directors. Lead strong partnership with Sephora BA’s and clients by providing service and support for any needs when in store.
  • Actively coach others to achieve goals and targets
  • Effective management of T&E and budget
  • Provide consistent and specific feedback on materials, training agendas, and training sessions.
  • Work with store leadership for visual placement in-store.
  • Update and maintain all scheduling calendars.
  • Communicate with Sephora Collection Field Leaders, Merchants, and business partners to share in store brand opportunities and observations that directly impact brand sales.
  • Demonstrate our Sephora values of Passion for the Client, Innovation, Expertise, Balance, Respect for All, Teamwork, and Initiative.
  • Analyze sales reports using company supported tools and platforms to determine strategies to drive additional sales.
  • Meet deadlines for reporting sales, expenses, and other requests.
  • Effectively track results for all events conducted within territory of responsibility.
  • Strategically plan the use of freelance hours to maximize business impact and results while staying within allocated budget for assigned territory
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and address issues with freelance support staff


We’re excited about you if you have:

  • 3-5 years of current Education Executive, Account Executive, Sales Management or comparable store leadership experience in a beauty/retail environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication, analytical, organizational, & computer skills.
  • Strong sense of business acumen
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking skills to quickly find creative solutions for issues that may arise within their territory
  • Strong presentation, facilitator and training skills in both live and digital formats (Zoom, video conferencing, social media).
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable with managing ambiguity in sometimes uncertainty situations
  • Plans and aligns to break down objectives into appropriate initiatives and actions to achieve KPIs
  • Makeup Artistry experience and skincare knowledge
  • Strong interpersonal skills are team-oriented and comfortable working with all levels of management.
  • Time management skills to work efficiently and effectively to complete all necessary reports and deadlines
  • Drive for results through others: Coaching and development.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.


Working conditions

  • Position requires driving to stores and heavy travel up to 80% (average of 3 weeks each month).
  • Flexibility in schedule to work evenings/weekends for education, training, and brand activations as needed.
  • Weekends required.
  • Must be able to work remotely.
  • Standing, walking, moving for a min. of 4 to 6 hours daily.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

The annual base salary range for this position is $102,765.00 - $114,855.00 The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job. Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses. Sephora offers a generous benefits package to full-time employees, which includes comprehensive health, dental and vision plans; a superior 401(k) plan, various paid time off programs; employee discount/perks; life insurance; disability insurance; flexible spending accounts; and an employee referral bonus program.
