Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain safety programs and procedures to ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees to promote a culture of safety awareness.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and provide recommendations for prevention.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement risk management strategies.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in occupational health and safety.
- Utilize construction management software to track safety metrics and generate reports.
- In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations and compliance requirements.
- Strong understanding of risk management principles and practices.
- Proficient in using construction management software for safety tracking and reporting.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Daily field audits. Assure the correct completion of observation cards, JSA’s other safety-related documentation. Conduct safety meetings and rig move meetings. Assuring the Short Service Employee/Mentor guidelines are followed. The position is a full-time position.
Additional tasks the FST will be involved in: Assistance in the transport of employees to and from the location as needed for personal or medical reasons, which may include trips after hours. Assist with pit cleans when necessary. Retrieval of job tickets from sites 2x/week.
The position is a full-time position in our Safety Division for the Charlotte TX location.
Position requires successful completion of background check and drug screens. Must have a valid license and minimum 3 years Field Safety experience.
