Field Coordinator

Companions and Homemakers, part of the AccordCare family, is a leader in the home care industry in CT and we are currently seeking candidates to fill a Field Coordinator position in the Norwich area. The selected candidate will enjoy a 40 hour work week over 5 days, preferably a Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday schedule.
Responsibilities: To ensure that clients are being taken care of to the standards set by C&H in order to promote home care as a viable and desirable alternative to institutional care. To observe and report information about clients' needs and caregiver performance in order to help us match the best possible caregivers to our clients. To assist with training caregivers in various areas as need. To fill in for clients as an acting caregiver when needed.
Overview of Required Skills/Traits: Compassion for the elderly, straight forward communication skills, common sense, polite and professional phone manner and a dedication to the company vision, observational skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, time management skills, attention to detail, and ability to be a “private detective” for evaluating caregiver performance, ability to adapt to last minute schedule changes.
Candidate must be comfortable carrying a company provided tablet and traveling within a 45 minutes radius from their home. Mileage reimbursement is provided.
