Part time job in San Marcos , San Diego

This job is for a male client who is a Quadriplegic very kind . He has a strict schedule with a bowel program , shower ,meals and light housekeeping .

There are more details his wife will also train.

Schedule : Saturday : Sunday and Monday

6 am -10 am

25.00 per hour W4

Must have : Live scan, professional references , skill set , drivers licence , vaccinated

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Caregivers. As a Caregiver, you will provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need, ensuring their well-being and promoting their independence. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.

Duties:
- Provide personal care and assistance to individuals, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Administer medications as prescribed and assist with medication management
- Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper techniques and equipment
- Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals
- Support individuals with daily activities, such as meal preparation, eating, and toileting
- Create a safe and comfortable environment for individuals, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being
- Implement behavior management strategies for individuals with special needs, such as those with autism
- Foster social interaction and engagement through meaningful activities and companionship
- Maintain documentation of care provided and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and family members

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of patient care principles and practices, including first aid and medication administration
- Familiarity with the rights of residents in nursing homes or assisted living facilities
- Ability to work with individuals of diverse backgrounds and adapt to their specific needs
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Valid driver's license (if required for the position)
- Ability to pass background checks and screenings
