Immediate Opening in Rockville, MD

CTI is an IT federal contracting company that deploys and maintains office equipment fleets for the U.S. Government. Founded in 1990, CTI specializes in deploying and maintaining multi-function devices (MFDs) and print software via comprehensive, customizable Managed Print Services (MPS) programs.

Scope of Work:

CTI is seeking a motivated and organized Federal Sales Associate to support our Federal Sales team in the pursuit of new business opportunities. Working closely with our Federal Sales Manager, the Federal Sales Associate will help monitor the Federal marketplace, proactively seek out new business, and collaborate with senior leadership to decide which opportunities to pursue. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Research, develop and prospect new businesses opportunities across the federal government
  • Shape opportunities by engaging with prospective clients, fostering relationships, and gaining a thorough understanding of customer requirements as they relate to CTI products and services.
  • Leverage CTI’s contract vehicles to secure new MPS opportunities across both federal civilian and defense agencies
  • Secure and lead both virtual and in-person meetings and product demonstrations with potential government customers
  • Participate in periodic business reviews with existing clients
  • Schedule and maintain a periodic cadence of communications with major clients
  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers and accounts, recommending product and service enhancements to improve overall customer satisfaction and to drive additional sales
  • Identify new potential channel and OEM partners, lead onboarding process, and manage key vendor relationships
  • Track existing customer contract renewals and competitive renewals; actively pursue business opportunities by prospecting into existing accounts and providing customers with information on new product and service solutions

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and one to three (1-3) years of experience in Federal Sales
  • Direct experience in selling Managed Print Services and printing equipment to the Federal Government
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) required
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, management, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with a diverse set of stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently with a proactive work style and can-do attitude
  • Organized, detail-oriented and capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced, demanding environment
  • Drive and determination to succeed in a sales environment
  • Must demonstrate strong decision making and judgement, oral and written communication, and business acumen.

Requirement:

  • Must be United States citizen or permanent resident with a valid work permit.

Salary and Company Benefits:

  • Starting salary dependent on experience and fit
