Are you looking for a position as part of a creative and skillful team? Do you want to use your natural people skills to make a difference in the lives of families of young children? We have the perfect position for you!
We are hiring a Family Support Specialist for our Head Start Program. This person will work with a caseload of 34 families to help meet their health and social needs with services, referrals, and assistance. Candidates will work with community partners to connect families to resources within the community. They will also recruit and complete intakes for new children to the Head Start program, and help with family and community events within our center.
We have a beautiful center with well-furnished offices and classrooms where we all work together to create an enjoyable environment for both children and staff. We value staff growth and development and offer ongoing professional development and team building activities, regular collaborative team meetings, and paid trainings.
Requirements:

- A working knowledge of state and federal resources for families, as well as local community resources, will serve you well in this position. But we'll also help you learn what's out there if you aren't sure!
- You need to love children. We are a child care center, so our children always come first!
