Position serves as the Family Juvenile Court Improvement Plan Coordinator (FJCIP) to the Superior Court and is a catalyst for improving court operations with the goal of improving outcomes for children and families. The FJCIP Coordinator convenes local system partners to identify opportunities for improvement, undertake meaningful practice changes, and assess the effectiveness of those efforts. The Coordinator works with court and system leaders to foster a court culture that is evidence based, trauma-responsive, equitable and respectful of families, community members and professionals. The coordinator may be assigned supervisory responsibility for various court initiatives that seek to achieve improved outcomes for children and families. The individual assigned to this classification will be expected to handle a broad scope of proprietary and private information.
Education/Training
Equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade or high school diploma.
Experience
College degree preferred but not required, or minimum of three to five years equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted which provides the skills, knowledge and abilities to perform the essential functions of the position.
