Objective of job
Provide basic support to plant logistics department and complete projects as assigned to ensure efficiency and improvement.
Fall Rotation: August 21, 2023 to December 15, 2023
Principle activities
- Daily operation of computer systems
- Update bin locations in the final assembly area with new part numbers, as well as in the system based on the logistics engineering change notification
- Create part number labels for supermarket/logistics areas per the logistics engineering change notification
- Lead coordination of re-sequencing efforts in both interior and electrical shipments when needed
- Coordinate SKD and Service Orders according to the car line
- Evaluate current process and make process improvement recommendations
- Create process flow charts for the logistics in the Plant
- Establish and enhance KPI tracking for production status
- Meeting 100% sequencing adherence and delivery reliability to customer
- Completion of LSS Yellow Belt Certification and project
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in progress within the field of Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management
- Completed three semesters towards degree
- Maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Able to work in the US indefinitely and without restrictions
