Senti Bio is seeking a Facilities Intern to support our lab and warehouse activities. A successful applicant will be operationally minded, able to multi-task and organize multiple efforts, have strong people management skills, and be comfortable managing a biological research facility. This role is well suited for applicants with prior lab management experience with interest in gaining exposure to a fast-growing startup environment in synthetic biology and cellular therapeutics.
Responsibilites
    • Supports operations of a R&D laboratory with 20+ researchers in partnership  
    • with the Director of Facilities
    • Assists with data entry
    • Assists in cleaning and restocking cold refrigeration systems
    • Assists with shipping and receiving of lab and office deliveries
    • Assist in a well-maintained and updated account of lab stock and inventory
    • Maintains an organized and functional laboratory workspace
    • Maintains physical space, ensuring a safe, clean, and functional environment.
    • Ensures safety standards are followed throughout facility
    • Supports office management tasks when needed during special events or by
    • request
Qualifications
    • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or related discipline.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software necessary to create and maintain reports and logs
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
    • Ability to perform with prolonged periods standing and walking throughout facilities
    • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
Salary ad Benefits
    • The hourly range for this role is $20-$25 per hour.
