Responsible for all aspects of maintenance for distribution center, office, common areas, preventative maintenance, repairs, installations and changes.
Shift: Monday to Friday: 9AM to 5PM
Essential Job Functions
- Repairs/maintains all material handling equipment and dock equipment (i.e doors, levelers, seals,etc).
- Maintains batteries and chargers for forklifts
- Repairs/maintains HVAC systems, lighting systems, electrical systems and plumbing
- Repairs, maintains, programs, installs conveyor systems and air systems
- Repairs, installs, and maintains racking
- Maintains fire suppression systems and fire alarm systems
- Performs welding/fabrication and maintains waste disposal equipment
- Assists with and/or responsible for new office construction
- Repairs floors and maintains roof
- Installs voice and data cabling
- Responsible for snow removal from sidewalk, steps, etc. Coordinate with contractor regarding removal of snow from parking lots, lawn care, roof repair, etc
- Maintains parts inventory
- Receives/responds to daily calls regarding problems and repairs
- Performs routine preventative maintenance/repair of 2electric vehicles and pallet trucks (repair/build).
