Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm (On call Rotation)
This position will oversee building and equipment maintenance schedules, coordinate general operations (electrical, mechanical, HVAC, janitorial, outside ground, waste management etc..), In addition the coordinator may be assigned facility related projects by the Facility Manager.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist Facility Manager in managing building maintenance activities.
- Assist Facility Manager in allocating and managing space within the building.
- Complete Facility PM’s in a timely and concise manner
- Assist Facility Manager in coordinating outside contractors/vendor activities.
- Inspect/coordinate/perform the maintenance and repair of facilities and related equipment.
- Complete Work Orders initiated from colleagues within the site in 7 days.
Education & Special Trainings:
- High School Diploma.
- Certified in facility management or related field preferred
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 1 year facility related experience preferred.
- Available for emergencies during and after working hours.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Work well in a fast paced environment.
- Associate Degree or Trade equivalent preferred.
Physical & Mental Requirements:
- Must have broad knowledge of facilities and facilities related equipment.
- Must show good judgement with ever changing priorities and/or situations.
- Must be able to demonstrate qualities of confidentiality, diplomacy and discretion.
- Core competencies in communication, emergency preparedness, business continuity, environmental stewardship and sustainability, operations and maintenance, project management and technology.
- Must be able to perform duties that include physical ability, lifting (min. of 40 lbs.), stoop, balance, stand, reaching, etc.
- Must have a mechanical aptitude.
