UCT is looking for a talented Facilities Technician to join us in Hillsboro, OR! The Facilities Technician is responsible for performing maintenance on production equipment, buildings and facilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Performs a wide variety of electrical, mechanical and preventative maintenance tasks.

Assists in installing, troubleshooting and starting up equipment.

Provides maintenance to the buildings, vehicles and associated facilities, including electrical, plumbing, lighting, HVAC, structural and landscaping.

Diagnoses mechanical problems, disassemble, repair, reassemble, test and adjust production and building equipment.

Assist in repair and maintenance of: Compressed Air Systems, HVAC / Evaporative Cooling Systems, Chilled Water Systems, Deionized Water Systems, Clean Room Applications, Pneumatics/Hydraulics, Sheetmetal Fabrication, Welding and Machining Equipment.

Ensures safety protocol is followed at all times.

Performs other duties as required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Basic Welding/Soldering experience.

HVAC and Plumbing experience.

Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment.

Strong dedication and sound judgment.

Self-motivated with good time management skills.

Able to work overtime as needed without notice.

Educational/Certification Requirement:

High School Diploma/GED; some College/Vocational/Trade School preferred or equivalent experience.

Experience Requirement:

Work Experience:

Two years demonstrated Maintenance/Facilities/Tech experience.

Required to have visual acuity to perform assigned tasks.

Subject to noise levels and vibrations.

Exposure to road hazards.

Subject to both inside and outside environmental conditions.

Subject to frequent interruptions.

Overnight Travel:

Work may require out of town travel depending upon assignment (training and meeting).
