Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
o Responsible for building a well-trained team which is passionate about safety, quality, efficiency, and company success
o Comply with all safety procedures and SOP’s.
o Attend continuing education training courses and seminars as requested and keep valid any and all licenses required to perform job duties.
o Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
o Complete all assigned work orders in CMMS and close out when completed.
o Meet or exceed company expectations for production performance to maximize sales
o Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repair work on all facility systems (Mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, fire, security, and refrigeration)
o Maintain, operate all HVAC, Chillers, and refrigeration systems along with all associated equipment, electrical systems, plumbing systems, building management, and building and grounds upkeep and repair.
o Support after hours building needs and activities as required.
o Ensure all regulatory documentation for facility systems is completed, up-to-date, and recorded and filed as required.
o Properly utilize labor resources to improve efficiency, minimize labor expense and reduce waste
o In absence of Senior Facilities Tech, Coordinate emergency (unscheduled) and scheduled repairs of facility mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and refrigeration systems equipment notifying appropriate management, as necessary.
o Coordinate scheduled downtime of facility systems with Plant Engineer and Senior Facilities Technician to ensure minimum downtime when required.
o Work with Senior Facilities Tech and storeroom personnel to order replacement parts as needed.
o Submit, via email, all required reports to Engineering and Operations management.
o Provide outstanding customer service to our partners
o Always follow all company and regulatory policies and procedures.

o Maintain compliance to City, County, State, and Federal ordinances, and codes.
o Ensure all shift documentation - downtime reports, shift rounds, systems documentation, inspections, etc., are completed and recorded as required.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
· Ability to read, write, and intermediate mathematical skills are required
· Must be willing to work weekends and overtime when needed
· Computer skills – ability to learn specific software programs (Plex) to access paperwork, email, etc.
· Advanced mechanical, welding, electrical, Fabrication, plumbing, HVAC, and Refrigeration aptitude is preferred.
· Complies with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) and all other food safety requirements
· Complies with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE’s) requirements
· Reports any food safety problems or potentially unsafe practices/conditions to QA Technician or QA Supervisor
· Constant walking and standing on hard concrete service
· Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, lifting and climbing
· Position will require working in very hot conditions
· Requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
· Requires the ability to lift, carry, push or pull medium weights, up to 75 pounds
· Requires activities involving being around moving machinery, exposure to
· marked changes in temperature and humidity, and exposure to dust, fumes, and gases.
*This position is responsible for ensuring that food safety is not compromised while meeting the requirements of the SQF Food Safety Code for Manufacturing and are responsible to report food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.
Physical and Safety Requirements:
· Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
· Complies with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) and all other food safety requirements
· Complies with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE’s) requirements
· Reports any food safety problems or potentially unsafe practices/conditions to lead or supervisor
· Constant walking and standing on hard concrete service
· Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, lifting and climbing
· Position will require working in very hot and cold conditions
· Other conditions include flour dust, wet floors, occasional smoke and fumes if product burns
