Facilities Service Associate

Facilities Service Associate:
The Select Group is looking for a Facilities Service Associate for one of their telecommunication clients. This is going to be a contract-to-hire opportunity, located in Louisville, CO (5 days onsite). You will be responsible for providing facility maintenance for three office locations.

Facilities Service Associate Requirements:

• Prior facilities/maintenance support experience
• Strong organization skills and attention to detail
• Effective verbal communication skills are required while working with all levels of staff and vendors
• Must possess a valid Colorado driver’s license, good driving record and have daily access to a dependable vehicle
• Ability to make supply runs and deliveries as necessary
• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Computer knowledge – utilizing MS Outlook (e-mail and calendars)

Physical Requirements:

• This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.
• Ability to safely lift objects up to 60 pounds unassisted
• Ability to safely maneuver pallet jacks and Manual Hydraulic Lift Pallet Stacker
• Ability to safely climb ladders

Nice to Have Skills:

• Prior phone/receptionist duties a plus, but not required (will train)
• Willingness to learn how to do project work as needed
• Speaking Spanish is a plus
• Computer knowledge – MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint
• Prior HVAC experience or knowledge
• Prior Security System experience or knowledge
• Prior Fire Safety experience or knowledge
• Prior front desk or reception experience or knowledge

Facilities Service Associate Responsibilities:

• Facility Maintenance Responsibilities
  • Maintain appearance and set up configurations of conference rooms
  • Assist with unloading and delivery of incoming shipments to internal recipient, including freight
  • Responsible for moving of furniture, both on and off-site (storage)
  • Assist with preparation, packing and delivery of outgoing shipments via USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL, including freight

• Other Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide front desk reception coverage for breaks or lunch as needed
  • Support Facilities and other team members in the fulfillment of department goals
  • Other duties as assigned
