FACILITIES SAFETY SUPERVISOR

Salary: $65,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year DOE
Reports To: Safety Director
Position Summary
Ecology Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a highly organized and experienced Facilities Safety Supervisor to provide direct oversight of safety functions and ensure compliance with safety standards and government regulations. This position will require extended workdays and weekend availability, involving a variety of work-related activities such as performing extended periods of talking, sitting, walking, standing, bending, stooping, driving, or other forms of travel.
Responsibilities
- Lead safety audits, training, documentation, coaching, and corrective action plans.
- Facilitate accurate and timely investigation of accidents and injuries; identify causes and determine root cause.
- Inspect or evaluate workplace environments, equipment, or practices to ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations.
- Communicate and document situations that may pose an immediate risk or danger to employees, facilities, and/or customers & ensure corrective action is taken.
- Collect and report facility performance metrics and update senior management on the status of compliance.
- Ensure appropriate use of Personal Protective Equipment as required by each operation.
- Maintain and update record-keeping related to safety metrics & compliance.
- Develop corrective action plans with site supervision and management, verify corrective action plans have been implemented, and present results and improvement plans to management.
Compensation
The Facilities Safety Supervisor position offers a competitive annual salary between $65,000 and $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Schedule
- 10-12 hour shift (Monday - Friday)
- 8-10 hour shift (Saturday)

Experience
- OSHA: 3 years (Required)
Language
- Spanish (Required)
License/Certification
- Driver's License (Required)
- OSHA 10 (Preferred)
- OSHA 30 (Preferred)
Qualifications/Knowledge/Critical Skills
- Fall Protection competent.
- OSHA 40HR completed.
- Strong Cal OSHA background.
- Ability to supervise and coach others effectively.
- Ability to resolve performance or service issues with management, supervisors, and facility personnel.
- Ability to communicate day-to-day and long-term needs of the facilities requiring conversations, appointments, and follow-up.
- Effective communication skills in both oral and written forms in both languages.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- 50/75% travel to conduct company facilities to conduct company business such as coaching sessions, accident investigations, safety meetings, and special projects.
- Computer-savvy with experience in Microsoft OFFICE and able to be trained in other programs.
- MSHA experience preferred but not required.

- Regional travel required, including overnight stay.
