About the Company

Ardmore Home Design (AHD), founded in 2008, is a privately-owned, fast-paced, entrepreneurial company where we value people with strong skills to make our products and processes better every day. We design, sell and distribute luxury home décor to interior designers as well as boutique/luxury retailers globally. The AHD family of wholesale brands includes Made Goods (flagship furniture made from unique materials); Pigeon & Poodle (home and bath accessories); Blue Pheasant (handcrafted tabletop products) and Thucassi (artisanal candles and fragrances).


About the Role

We are looking for a Facility & Safety Managerto ensure the proper processes and protocols are in place for our growing business. We need a candidate that can work across multiple departments, manage many projects concurrently, and has the ability to be a swiss-army knife.


The main focus of this role includes:

1. Facilities Management for our two main warehouses in City of Industry

a. Includes the maintenance and upkeep of our heavy equipment and fleet

2. Safety processes and protocols are in place to adhere to OSHA, DOT, and FMCSA requirements

3. Materials Management for our warehouse and packaging supplies

4. Overall property management for our showrooms and residential properties

a. Includes security, vendor assistance, and updating property guides



What you can do for us:

· Manage 1-2 associates to ensure our properties are well-maintained

o Including the addition of adding racking and other safety measures as needed

· Review near-miss, first-aid, and TRIR data to ensure we are updating our safety policies to reduce the potential for claims

· Source new vendors to improve quality and reduce costs on main supply ordering

· Adhere to a daily & weekly checklist for your team to ensure proper daily cleanliness, safety, and security standards are met

· Review our current property guides and update on a quarterly basis

· Ensure OSHA, DOT, and FMCSA standards are applied

o Train as needed for office and warehouse staff, including forklift certification

o Maintain our IIPP (up to code)

· Partner with Human Resources to ensure a proper process is followed in the event of an OSHA recordable incident

· Keep our fleet, heavy equipment, and other facilities equipment in good condition and up-to-date with services and registration

· Assist with procuring items and services for our company’s special events

· Manage spend for supplies, utilities, and equipment

Requirements:


· Heavy Equipment usage and maintenance

· OSHA, DOT, FMCSA, and IIPP knowledge

· Materials Management best practices (safety stock, MOQs)

· Minimum of 10 years with relevant experience


Preferred Qualifications

· OSHA 300 Certification

· DOT and FMCSA Experience

· The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

· Ability to work in open environment with fluctuating temperatures and standard lighting.

· Ability to work on computer and mobile phone for multiple hours; with frequent interruptions.

· Required to use stairwells to attend meetings and engage with employees on multiple floors throughout building.

Compensation

Starting base pay: $80,000-$90,000 annual salary. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
