About the Role
As a Warehouse Manager at Packsize, you will play a crucial role in managing our warehouse operations. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective flow of products through the warehouse, optimizing space utilization, managing a team of warehouse staff, and maintaining a high level of accuracy in inventory management.
What Youll Do:
- Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and order fulfillment.
- Lead, mentor, and train warehouse staff, ensuring a high level of performance and productivity.
- Develop and implement warehouse procedures and best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Manage inventory levels to ensure product availability while minimizing excess stock.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Monitor and optimize warehouse layout and space utilization.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless order processing and delivery.
- Ensure compliance with safety and security procedures.
- Ensure part orders are picked and shipped on time.
- Manage all material picking, handling, and movement (raw material, sub-assemblies, and final product) in support of Packsize assembly operations and finished product shipments.
- Evaluate and recommend improvements in warehouse processes and systems.
- Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management.
What Youll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and best practices.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of safety and compliance regulations.
