The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization is seeking a First Line Manufacturing Manager (Level K) to join our dynamic team in St Louis, MO.
The F-15 program has an exciting opportunity to join the F-15 Manufacturing & Safety team on the flight ramp and ensure that our air vehicles are completed and pass certification for airworthiness by overseeing final component installation, systems operation functional testing, modification, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, preflight and postflight checks, release for flight, and preparation for delivery. This role interfaces with flight crews, engineering, management, suppliers, and customers to meet product requirements and ensure customer acceptance.
Position Responsibilities:
First Line Leaders are expected to develop and executes project and process plans, implement policies and procedures and set operational goals. Acquire resources for projects and processes, provide technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements. Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports. Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. Manage, develop and motivate employees.
As a member of the Leadership team, you will continuously lead and develop the Manufacturing & Safety team for the F-15. A successful candidate will have strong interpersonal and coaching skills that will further enable our business unit to embrace and elevate BPS culture, driving a deep understanding of the BPS principles, standards, production health and problem-solving model. Security Clearance & Export Control Requirements:
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):
- High School diploma.
- 3+ years of experience in a Manufacturing Operations environment.
- 1+ years of experience implementing lean methodologies and productivity improvements.
- Experience with Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and SharePoint.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Experience manufacturing Execution Systems common image (MESci) experience.
- Experience in the Aerospace & Defense Industry and/or the military
- Experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership

Travel:
Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.

Pay range: $106,250 - $143,750
