SalaryRocha Family Eye Care is seeking a motivated, eager to learn, and friendly candidate to join our dynamic team!
Optometry experience is not required - we will train the right candidate This position can be part time or full time employment (no more than 20-35 hours a week).
Our office hours are Monday through Friday between 9:30am to 6:30pm, Saturdays are between 9:30am to 6:00pm.
Candidate chosen is expected to work a few days during the week, and will be required to work 2-3 weekend shifts.
Job Responsibilities:
- Check patients in and update Demographic/Insurance information in EHR
- Operate all pre-testing equipment including Optos Daytona (retinal imaging), Clarifye (vision profiler), NCT, Color book, and Visual Acuity
- Insurance verification
- Contact lens sales - secure orders from new and existing patients
- Perform contact lens insertion and removal classes for new wearers
- Explain paperwork and break down insurance benefits to patients
- Answer phone calls & Schedule appointments
- More responsibilities assigned daily as needed
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.25 - $16.50 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 32 per week
