What You'll Do: Assist in exams, surgeries, and procedures. Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments. Run lab tests and imaging. Keep an eye on anesthesia and vitals. Provide top-notch nursing care. Educate pet parents and maintain records. Operate and maintain diagnostic equipment. ️ Communicate with clients and be a pet guru. Keep records in tiptop shape and lead your team.
About our clinic:Abingdon Square is a full-service small animal hospital, offering the gold standard in medical and surgical care, including urgent care during business hours. We believe healthy pets make people happy, and we strive to provide high-quality veterinary care for cats and dogs in the area. We are Fear Free, Feline Friendly Certified, and Human-Animal Bond Certified. Our diagnostic equipment includes an in-house laboratory, digital radiography, digital dental radiography, and ultrasound. Most importantly, we have phenomenal, experienced support staff who are crucial to the success of patient and client care. Our doctors perform a variety of routine and advanced soft tissue surgeries and dentistry. All our patients undergoing anesthesia have pre-op lab work and receive an IV catheter, IV fluids, and are carefully monitored and recovered by our skilled surgical technicians.

Your Credentials:
- Experience, skilled Veterinary Technician with strong technician skills including anesthesia monitoring, IV catheter placement, etc.
- Expert in animal handling, no matter the mood.
- Great with clients and an awesome team player.
- Can handle the hustle, multitask, and stay cool.
- Tech-savvy for record-keeping and team chat.
- Ready to handle animals of all sizes.
