Army Trail Animal Hospital LLC is looking for an Experienced Veterinary Receptionist for our 3 doctor small animal and exotic clinic in Bartlett IL. Established in 2012, we have recently completed a large expansion. We strive to provide excellent client service and high quality medicine in a relaxed and friendly environment. Our ideal candidate is comfortable with all areas of client service, communication and client education, as well as good team interaction with peers, team leads and doctors. Duties include: Receptionist must be able to efficiently and pleasantly greet clients as they walk into the clinic in a friendly and welcoming manner, answer and document phone calls or place on hold, accurately check in and check out clients in a timely manner with all proper and accurate documentation including surgery authorizations and estimates, review invoices for accuracy prior to check out, review medications and prescription diets for accurate dispensing, coordinate payments via Cornerstone, Telecheck and Clover, count cash and make change, schedule appointments, prepare documents for appointments, review medical records and accurately document due dates, call for medical records and scan prior to appointments, prepare, sign up, schedule and execute Wellness Plans accurately, and assign patients and clients to exam rooms to promote optimal exam room flow and improve doctor efficiency. Receptionist must be able to prioritize different tasks for varying situations as they arise to assure excellent client service and hospital flow and must ask supervisor for assistance with new or difficult situations. Receptionist must be able to manage exam room flow by efficiently and accurately scheduling, checking in and checking out clients, assigning proper patient to room depending on reason for visit, species, 1 vs 2 doctor shift, appointment time vs walk in, time of arrival (on time, early, late), preparing documentation in a timely manner and accurate documentation, in order to promote doctor efficiency and over all improve patient care and client satisfaction. Receptionist must be able to invoice, accept payments, dispense medications and prescription diets, schedule appointments, prepare documents, and execute Wellness Plans accurately.
