Established and reputable Wealth Management firm in Middletown, NJ seeking seasonal, Experienced Tax professional that can prepare and review tax returns for tax season 2024 and beyond.
Responsibilities:
· Accurately and efficiently prepare business, individual, exempt org., and Trust tax returns
· Act as a mentor to less experienced staff; review their work and provide guidance
· Research complex tax issues
· Perform tax planning for clients and answer tax questions
· Ensure the confidentiality of each client by following all company procedures regarding information handling
· Attend to the needs of clients to inspire them to refer the service and come back the following year
Requirements:
· Bachelor's Degree or above required (in Accounting, Tax or Finance a plus)
· 5+ years relevant tax experience (able to review staff returns)
· PTIN License required
· Knowledge and use of Lacerte strongly desired
· Impeccable math and accounting skills
· Proficient QuickBooks user (and ability to train others)
· Knowledge of Microsoft Office and efficient computer skills
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
