Job Description
Remote or In-office
About Us
We are a dynamic, consultative, and enterprising law firm seeking to add an Experienced Tax Preparer (non-CPA) to our happy, highly reputable, and growing team. We focus on and value collaboration within our teams and enjoy exposure to a variety of professional services that extend beyond traditional tax compliance.
Our practice is focused on advisory services in addition to the traditional work of preparing tax returns, with varied daily work. Clients are individuals and business owners with sophisticated tax, business planning, and related tax compliance needs.
Our firm culture is friendly, warm, and focused on interpersonal relationships – we laugh a lot and try to make every day a good day. Our team comes from a variety of backgrounds with diverse personal interests, and while client work is important and we hold ourselves to high service standards, our family and outside interests and activities are just as valued.
The Opportunity
The position is for a contract hire of an Experienced Tax Preparer, and there is an opportunity for employment if desired. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys collaborating with others, but who can work independently, and who enjoys the work of organizing records, the challenge of completing the “puzzle” of tax returns, and the satisfaction of completing assignments.
You would be valued for your hard work and efforts, and your position would be a valued part of our firm's growth plan.
You would be part of the firm's Tax Team, and be part of the larger firm team supported and mentored by our Firm Administrator.
There is also an opportunity for growth in the position and promotion as the firm grows, as you expand the scope of the position, or if outperform our expectations.
