Experienced Safety Manager

Established and growing underground utility construction company in search of an experienced Safety Manager. The qualified candidate will possess the following requirements:
- A commitment to our established Environmental, Health, and Safety Program

- 5 years minimum experience as a Safety Manager on projects which include underground construction
- Experience in confined space, trench safety, fall protection
- OSHA 500/501
- OSHA 3015 is a plus
- Working knowledge of all current laws and regulations pertaining to OSHA Standards as related to underground construction
- Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Bi-lingual is a plus
- High level of self-motivation

Job Duties:
- Daily jobsite inspections
- Monitoring and recording all training needs for current and upcoming projects
- Handling all insurance claims from worker's comp to jobsite incidents
- Investigating all workplace incidents to determine root cause
- other duties as assigned
