Join Our Team as an Associate Immigration Attorney!We are an established immigration firm looking to hire an experienced Immigration Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. Job Duties:
- Conduct consultations to determine best course of action with each potential client;
- Conduct legal research;
- Draft forms for USCIS;
- Draft Briefs, Pleadings, and Motions for EOIR;
- Represent clients in court proceedings (EOIR), USCIS interviews, and ICE appointments;
- Prepare clients for hearings and interviews;
- Participation in networking events;
- Willingness to learn other areas of immigration law;
- Maintain client communication and work together with paralegals and staff.
Requirements:
- MUST BE BILINGUAL IN ENGLISH AND SPANISH.
- Must have 3+ years practicing immigration.
- Experience with REMOVAL/DEPORTATION DEFENSE.
- Experience with both Master Calendar Hearings and Individual Hearings before EOIR.
- Experience with Affirmative and defensive asylum, VAWA, U VISA, T VISA, PIP, Cancellation of Removal, TPS, and Family based petitions.
- Experience representing clients at ICE appointments.
- Experience representing clients with USCIS.
- Experience with Crimmigration preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Clio and Docketwise; preferred but not required.
- Experience with employment immigration; preferred but not required.
- Ability to speak other languages.
