Experienced General Motors Service Manager

Job Summary:
TheExperienced General Motors Service Managerat Gray Chevrolet is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the Vehicle Service Department to ensure the highest level of customer service and business operations. The Service Manager reports directly to the General Manager and will be based in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee repairs of all GM vehicles and ensure excellent customer service
- Ensure technicians and service staff are meeting job performance expectations
- Monitor and manage all inventory, supplies, and parts
- Develop and manage service promotions and promotions campaigns
- Train and coach service personnel on GM policies and procedures
- Establish customer service goals and objectives
- Oversee and manage financial aspects of the service department
- Maintain and report accurate records including: customer information, sales, and expenses
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Service Manager  in the auto industry
- Extensive knowledge of GM products, policies, procedures and parts
- Good understanding of customer service principles and successful record of managing customer relations
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Problem-solving skills
