Boeing Defense, Space & Security has an opportunity for an Experienced Financial Analyst (Level 3) position on the Enterprise Rates and Overhead Cost Management team supporting on-going maintenance of rates for BDS Aircraft Modernization and Modification (AM&M) located in Hazelwood, MO.
In this role you will:
- Coordinate and support the development of Rate Forecasts involving the forecasting, allocation of costs, overhead and base projections for Forward Pricing Rate Proposals/Agreements (FPRP/A) with the United States Government
- Provide audit support to business and finance leadership, internal and external auditors, and government agencies (Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA), Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA)
- Interface with various levels of senior leadership across Boeing business segments (Corporate, Shared Services Group (SSG), Information Technology (IT) and Engineering, Test & Technology (ET&T)), BDS and Boeing Global Services (BGS) business units, as well as with various functions
Position Responsibilities:
- Develop resource forecasts and/or Estimates at Completion (EACs) for control accounts, budgets, functions or pools; financial EACs for contracts or programs. Initiates analysis of resource forecasts and/or control account EACs; financial EACs
- Compile data from multiple sources and develops performance reports
- Initiates variance analyses and provides understanding of operational and financial performance to management
- Makes recommendations to management on financial performance projections using financial and business knowledge and experience
- Develops, reviews, analyzes and maintains cost and/or schedule performance measurement baselines, including earned value, and variance analyses and communicates cost and/or schedule trends
- Develops business cases using appropriate indices
This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, business or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in a finance, accounting, business or a related role
- 3+ years of experience using excellent verbal and written communications skills to communicate with leaders and colleagues
- 1+ years of experience with one or more of the following financial systems: Cognos, Interactive Reporting Environment (IRE), Enterprise Analysis System (EAS), Cost Schedule Performance Reporting (CSPR), Enterprise Planning & Analysis System (EPAS)
- 1+ years of experience with PowerPoint and Excel for data analysis and presentations
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 1+ years of experience in cost policy, cost accounting or cost management
- 1+ years of experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with senior executives, customers, stakeholders, peers, and business partners
- 1+ years of experience with the Microsoft Excel application using: formulas, VLookups, pivot tables, charts, filters, and linking worksheets
Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).
