Salary- Front Desk Receptionist in a Dental Practice
Atlantic Periodontics is looking to add another front office person to our busy practice. The ideal candidate must able to greet and schedule patients in a warm, friendly and professional manner.
Atlantic Periodontics is a high quality caring periodontal practice located in Northfield, New Jersey. Our mission is to provide outstanding care and service to the dental community and our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Answer the incoming calls and direct them appropriately.
- Check in patients at the desk and update patient information.
- Check out patients, collect payments, discuss treatment plan costs, discuss insurance and make appointments.
- Call referring dentists for xrays and other information as needed.
- Upload xrays to patient record and send emails when necessary.
- Photograph patients and upload to the patient record.
- Support the insurance/billing coordinator.
- Any other duties as requested by the doctors or office manager.

- Computer experience with knowledge of dental software i.e. Open Dental or Dentrix is a plus
- Experience in a dental office a must and periodontal a plus
Hours: Full time 32+hours
Pay: $21 per hour
