We are seeking Experienced Collections representatives to join our team of professionals and work in a highly motivated environment helping customers resolve their delinquent accounts over the phone. Earn a competitive hourly rate plus a monthly bonus, based on your performance. Sharpen your communication and negotiation skills and stay productive throughout the day.
This role may be performed remotely or in our Escondido, CA office. Candidates MUST live within the Escondido or San Diego area.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Initiate or handle incoming calls with customers by phone.
• Help customers improve their financial position by understanding their situation, responding with empathy, and creating solutions.
• Determine reason for delinquency to secure payment while building rapport.
• Educate customers on account terms and alternate payment programs and methods.
• Negotiate and offer solutions for repayment which best suits the consumer and the business.
• Balance scripted conversation with natural rapport and provide accurate and detailed documentation of accounts to ensure proper follow-up.

REQUIREMENTS

• Prior Collection experience, specifically Pre and Post charge-off Retail/Bankcard recovery. Consumer Loan and Auto Deficiency recovery experience will be considered.
• Strong collections / recovery performance work history.
• Experience with Debt Manager (DM) collection platform preferred.
• Flexible Work from Home (WFH) or In Office schedule but must have the ability to work a base schedule of Monday-Friday 8 am - 5 pm, one evening shift 10 am - 7 pm per week, and one 4-hour Saturday shift per month.
• Ability to think critically and problem solve, quickly learn new things.
• High level of self-motivation and strong individual drive.
• Motivated by competition or achievement driven.
• Proficiency with Windows and moderate typing skills.
• Ability to successfully pass criminal background check.
