Capozzi Design Build is currently seeking an experienced part-time Bookkeeper to join our team at our Solon, OH office. This position requires strong accounting skills and the ability to manage human resources-related tasks like payroll, benefits, and compliance. Applicant needs to be organized and prompt with an excellent understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and adherence to laws. Residential Remodeling accounting experince a PLUS.

Responsibilities:
• Keep accurate records of all financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries, and deductions
Work in process accounting required
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reports for upper management
• Manage payroll tasks; process paychecks and withholdings, draft reports
• Compile employee records; document new hires, leaves, and terminations
• Oversee benefit and compensation programs
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and laws
• Facilitate payments to vendors
• Maintain an organized filing system
Requirements:
Work in person.Solon, Ohio
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Management/Administration or related field
• 3+ years of bookkeeping/ accounting experience
• Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Office Suite, and financial software - Familiar with Computer Ease a PLUS
• Strong attention to detail
• Thorough understanding of accounting principles
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
