Job Summary: Advantage Chevrolet of Bridgeview seeks an experienced Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. This full-time, individual contributor role will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to clients in the automotive industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of customer service success and automotive industry experience.
Compensation & Benefits: This position offers a competitive salary range of $40,000 to $100,000 per year based on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401k, and paid time off.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.
- Listen to customers' concerns and accurately document them.
- Recommend necessary vehicle repairs and services based on customer needs and vehicle history.
- Provide estimates for repair costs and timeframes.
- Schedule and confirm appointments for service and repairs.
- Act as a liaison between customers and service technicians to ensure repairs are completed in a timely and satisfactory manner.
- Communicate with customers throughout the repair process, providing updates and addressing any concerns.
- Ensure accurate and timely billing and invoicing.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and vehicle service histories.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve the customer experience and increase sales.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Automotive Service Advisor.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Knowledge of automotive systems, parts, and repairs.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong computer skills.
- Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
